Our Statement of Faith

OUR FOUNDATION

We believe God's Word is our authority, Jesus Christ is our foundation, and love should mark everything we do.

ABOUT GOD

We believe there is one true God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth, the source of life, truth, and salvation. God is holy, loving, faithful, just, merciful, all-powerful, and worthy of all worship.

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." — Genesis 1:1 (ESV)

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world through His death on the cross.

We believe that after His crucifixion, He descended to the realm of the dead, triumphing over the powers of darkness, sin, death, and the grave. Through His victory, He secured our redemption and authority in Him.

On the third day, Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin, death, and hell. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes for believers. We believe He will return again in power and glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.

"I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." — Revelation 1:18 (ESV)

"Having disarmed the rulers and authorities, he put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him." — Colossians 2:15 (ESV)

"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." — 1 Timothy 2:5 (ESV)

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is God and is active in the world today. He convicts people of sin, draws them to Christ, regenerates believers, empowers holy living, teaches truth, produces spiritual fruit, and equips believers for ministry. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available today and should operate according to Scripture for the building up of the Church and the glory of Jesus Christ.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses..." — Acts 1:8 (ESV)

ABOUT THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

ABOUT HUMANITY

We believe all people are created in the image of God and possess inherent dignity, value, and worth, because God created them. Because of sin, humanity is separated from God and in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." — Genesis 1:27 (ESV)

ABOUT SALVATION

We believe salvation is the gift of God received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, people are forgiven of sin, reconciled to God, and made new creations in Christ.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." — Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)

ABOUT WATER BAPTISM

We believe water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience and a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes the believer's identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." — Romans 6:4 (ESV)

ABOUT THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe believers should earnestly desire the fullness and empowering presence of the Holy Spirit for holy living, effective ministry, and bold witness.

"And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness." — Acts 4:31 (ESV)

ABOUT DIVINE HEALING

We believe Jesus Christ still heals today. We pray for the sick, trust God as our healer, and believe He continues to work through His power according to His will.

"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him..." — James 5:14 (ESV)

ABOUT THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers. The Church exists to worship God, make disciples, equip believers, care for one another, and proclaim the Gospel to the world.

"Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it." — 1 Corinthians 12:27 (ESV)

ABOUT THE GREAT COMMISSION

We believe every believer is called to share the Gospel and make disciples. The mission of the Church is to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and teach others to follow Him.

"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...'" — Matthew 28:18-19 (ESV)

ABOUT HOLINESS

We believe followers of Jesus are called to pursue holiness and live lives that honor God. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are continually transformed into the image of Christ.

"But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct." — 1 Peter 1:15 (ESV)

ABOUT MARRIAGE AND FAMILY

We believe God established marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman. Marriage was designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church and serves as the biblical foundation for the family.

We believe God intentionally created humanity male and female. These two distinct sexes are part of God's good design and together reflect His image and purpose in creation.

We believe children are a gift and heritage from the Lord. Parents are called to disciple, teach, nurture, and model the Christian faith within the home. We are committed to strengthening marriages, equipping parents, and helping families flourish according to God's design.

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." — Genesis 2:24 (ESV)

"Children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward." — Psalm 127:3 (ESV)

ABOUT THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE

We believe every human life is sacred because every person is created in the image of God. Human life possesses inherent value and dignity from conception to natural death.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..." — Jeremiah 1:5 (ESV)

ABOUT ETERNITY

We believe every person will exist eternally. Those who place their faith in Jesus Christ will spend eternity with God, while those who reject Him will remain eternally separated from Him in Hell.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." — John 3:16 (ESV)

ABOUT THE RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and victoriously. We eagerly await His return and seek to live faithfully until that day.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself..." — John 14:3 (ESV)

Our Motto

One Path — Jesus Christ

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." — John 14:6 (ESV)

One Purpose — To know Him and make Him known

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." — Philippians 1:21 (ESV)

One King — Jesus Christ

"On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." — Revelation 19:16 (ESV)

Be Blessed In Jesus Name!
